I have been everywhere on this old girl. Its not as bad as it looks and has a nice balance between power/handling. On one trip to the Isle of Man whilst the rest were cruising at 90/100 mph on the motorway I was about flatout ( for 80 miles or so ). Out of the all the bikes in our group it was the only one not to breakdown and it was on its 2nd trip whilst still being used everyday for work...good old tool. If you've got a modern bike then you have to be a woeful rider to be frightened by this beasty. God knows how many miles its done, I have 4 engines for it and have used them all at one time or another. The current one was raced in a TZ500 chassis for 3 years. I'll get a photo out of that one day and bore you some more. Its not exactly standard its actually 610cc (Kawasaki gpz305 pistons) 30 years old now.
2005 and back in use 6 years old and just come back from the woods - 550k3 pipes
1988 at the Island, resting after its one and only Donut.
